Managing your bookings >> How can I process a walk-in ?

To process a walk-in follow these simple steps:

1- Go to the overview panel and scroll down to the section Availability and you will get a quick view of the rooms / beds you have still available and the corresponding rate for that night. Click the arrows to view data for next days.

Or you can open the Booking Planner and click on any empty cell. The Walk-in Window will open with the corresponding date and room number. If the person is a regular guest at the property then click on the folder to the top right corner to open registered guests info. After selection and confirmation, the system will auto-complete the walk-in form for you. At this point you can still change room number.

2- Click next and get total cost with tax. At this point you still can go back and change information (guest data or room type or number)

4- If the guest agrees, click SAVE, upon closing the Window the Booking Planner will refresh itself displaying the newly booked room.

5- Click on the guest name to open the Reservation Details Window. If the guest is ready to pay, click on the Change Status TAB, select check-in, collect and enter the amount paid and coresponding payment method.

6- If necessary, click on Invoice TAB to print invoice (we recommend doing this on check-out as the guest might use extra services or make purchases during his/her stay and might like all transactions on the printed document). Give guest room key. Check-in is complete !
